HOW TO STUDY EFFIECTIVELY

I got so motivated to improve my students' grades that
I began testing and applying all the techniques and strategies
I have learnt from my practice.

Schools are NEVER going to teach you effective study strategies
to allow you to excel in exams. They expect you to know them.

I'm sure you have seen hardworking students not getting the grades
they deserved and yet some students seem to get things done easily.

All this because of the lack of effective
strategies.

PROBLEM #1- The free information offered on the Internet are
often tips and common advice. They may have as many as
1000 tips listed, but often only 1 of these tips prove to be
useful at all.

PROBLEM #2- The fee-based web sites out there often
get their information from those free study tips websites. Basically
these site operators are just looking to make a fast buck. They've
NEVER been in the shoes of a student in the 21st century.

They don't even bother to experiment out the tips to verify if they
work before they sell it!

If you’ve been studying with these following methods:

writing standard,

notes·

memorizing by repeating the same material
over and over again

spending mind-bogging hours to read and comprehend
new materials

simply can’t concentrate and settle down to prepare for your
exams.

I can help you to study with changed methods.

An effective study strategy is perhaps the most overlooked fact
of student life.

ENCOURAGE PARENT AND FAMILY INVOLVEMENT :

Get involved with your child's school and teachers.

Find out whether the school is setting high enough academic standards
for your child, and whether the school is offering your child the
educational opportunities he or she needs to meet the highest
standards available in other schools and states.

Get together with other families, teachers, community groups,
school district staff, and the school's principal to begin to make
improvements in your child's school.

Studies show that academic achievement drops sharply for children
who watch more than two hours of TV a day.

Help children select the right program for their age.

Contact your TV manufacturer to determine the availability
of a V-chip which can block out certain programmiprogrammes.

Set high standards for your children's course work; encourage them to study hard and participate in enrichment activities beyond the regular school day.
